Job summary

VALCOURT is seeking a hands-on Waterproofing Technician to install and inspect waterproofing treatments on commercial buildings and parking structures in Florida. You will perform leak investigations, water testing, and assist with concrete and masonry repairs while following established procedures.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work at height using lifts or scaffolds, and strict adherence to safety rules and building codes.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability in waterproofing or related field.
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate tools.

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing treatments using equipment per procedures and practices.
• Perform leak investigations and water testing for infiltration.
• Assist in exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structures.
• Work with access equipment (boom lifts, scaffolds, ladders) to reach heights.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and replace as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety practices, laws, and building codes.
• Perform integrity testing to identify breaches in waterproofing membranes/coatings.

Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatment and assist in waterproofing application and workDuties/Responsibilities:Waterproofing & Concrete workPerform Leak Investigations, Water testing & repairs for water infiltrationInstall waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practicesAssist in waterproofing application and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating productsPerform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structuresAccess to work areas may require the use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair, to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
