Job summary

SOUTH SHORE BUILDING SERVICE LLC is seeking a Waterproofing Technician to support exterior waterproofing and concrete work in Anaheim, CA. You will perform waterproofing installation, leak investigations, water testing, and assist in applying coatings on buildings and parking structures.

Candidate should be physically fit, able to work outdoors in varying weather, and able to lift up to 25 kg. A valid driver's license is advantageous, and flexibility for extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or related field.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 kg.
• Able to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with procedures and practices.
• Perform leak investigations, water testing & repairs for water infiltration.
• Assist in waterproofing application and work with waterproofing chemicals/coating products.
• Perform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing on buildings and parking structures.
• Access to work areas may require boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair to reach heights.
• Perform integrity testing to identify breaches or defects in existing membranes/coatings.
• Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are in working order and arrange replacements as necessary.
• Adhere to health and safety practices and all laws and company policies.

Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatment and assist in waterproofing application and workDuties/Responsibilities:Waterproofing & Concrete workPerform Leak Investigations, Water testing & repairs for water infiltrationInstall waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practicesAssist in waterproofing application and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating productsPerform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structuresAccess to work areas may require the use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair, to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
