Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant for its Seattle, WA office to expand service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, and to support construction defect litigation initiatives.

You will provide technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems, oversee design work, and manage repair and reconstruction projects for apartments, condominiums, and commercial/government buildings, while assisting litigation efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems; PE or RA license preferred.
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.

• Support litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support.

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant to help them expand their service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, as well as construction defect litigation support solutions at their Seattle, WA office.

Your Day Includes:

• Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work
• Managing repair and re-construction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings
• Supporting litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support
• Utilizing your network of attorneys and insurance adjusters in the local area to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings

Must Haves:

• Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, with a PE or RA license preferred
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings
