Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant for a Charlotte, NC office to expand services in roofing, wall design engineering, and construction-defect litigation support.

You will provide technical expertise on roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems, and manage repair/construction projects for diverse properties while supporting litigation through mediation and trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management or closely related discipline.
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, with a PE or RA license preferred.
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.
• Manage repair and re-construction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings.
• Support litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support.
• Leverage network of attorneys and insurance adjusters to develop new business opportunities and expand firm services.

Job description

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant to help them expand their service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, as well as construction defect litigation support solutions at their Charlotte, NC office.

Your Day Includes:

• Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work
• Managing repair and re-construction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings
• Supporting litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support
• Utilizing your network of attorneys and insurance adjusters in the local area to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings

Must Haves:

• Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, with a PE or RA license preferred
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings
