Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant for our Palo Alto, CA office to expand roofing and wall design engineering services and support construction defect litigation. The role involves providing technical expertise, overseeing repair and reconstruction projects for multifamily and commercial buildings, and collaborating with attorneys and insurance adjusters to grow service offerings.

• Experience with roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems; PE or RA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.
• Managing repair and reconstruction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings
• Supporting litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support
• Utilizing your network of attorneys and insurance adjusters in the local area to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings

Education

Bachelor's or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management or related

PE or RA license preferred

Job description

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant to help them expand their service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, as well as construction defect litigation support solutions at their Palo Alto, CA office.

Your Day Includes:

• Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work
• Managing repair and re-construction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings
• Supporting litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support
• Utilizing your network of attorneys and insurance adjusters in the local area to develop new business opportunities and grow the firm's service offerings

Must Haves:

• Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline
• Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, with a PE or RA license preferred
• Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings
