Job description

In this role, you will oversee the water park maintenance operations, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation. As a leader, you’ll bring our Promise to life—supporting associates, inspiring teamwork, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

We require you to have a background of at least two years of progressive experience in a water attractions environment and two years' experience in managing others. You should be able to work all shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the operation, inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of rides, pools, filtration systems, HVAC, and mechanical equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Manage and train maintenance staff, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, including water quality and ride safety regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, manage budgets and inventory for parts/supplies, and partner with leadership on capital projects or upgrades.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified pool operator (CPO) or the ability to quickly gain certification.
• Knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, and total facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of common ride maintenance repairs.
• Experience managing a preventative maintenance program.
• Knowledge of daily operations for a waterpark, YMCA or other leisure/vacation venue.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
