Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is hiring a Waterpark Lifeguard with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Starting rate up to $17.00 per hour; minimum 4 shifts per week, with Saturdays/Sundays required. Successful lifeguard class completion or on-site 3-day certification is required.

You will supervise water-park safety, perform rescues, CPR/first aid as needed, and help maintain a welcoming, safe guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• 3-day lifeguard certification course available (on-site).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment that changes with occupancy and demand.

* $1,000 Lifeguard Sign on Bonus!

Apply, successfully complete lifeguard class, and get hired as a LIFEGUARD between 10/6/2026-11/10/2026 to qualify. Payment schedule:

$500 - first check (after successful completion of the lifeguard class. Must be in good standing with the company to receive bonus)

$200 - after 60 days (Must be in good standing with the company to receive bonus)

$300 - after 90 days (Must be in good standing with the company to receive bonus)

You are required to work minimum of 4 shifts/week (Sat & Sun are mandatory work days) to receive bonus.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aLifeguard.In this role, you will be standing guard and saving lives as you enforce waterpark rules to maintain a safe and fun environment.

Starting Rate:Up to $17.00 an hour*

*Eligibility requirements apply: Open Availability.Base rate for Deep Guard starts at $16.00 an hour*

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness.
• Communicating with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns.
• Conducting water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Staying alert and regularly inspecting pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Not a certified Lifeguard? Not a problem! Candidates complete a 3-day certification course (Saturday – Monday) held at Kalahari Resorts facility.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment that is constantly changing based on room occupancy, group, and local business
