Job summary

This hands‑on role requires building strong teams, managing budgets and labor, and ensuring safety training such as StarGuard ELITE or Ellis & Associates. On‑site work with flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, is required to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in hospitality, attractions, theme park, or waterpark environments.
• Proven ability to manage large teams in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting.
• Strong understanding of operations, financial management, labor scheduling, guest service, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision for the waterpark, ensuring guest satisfaction, high‑performing teams, and profitable operations.
• Oversee daily park operations across all departments (aquatics, F&B, attractions, admissions, retail, facilities).
• Lead and develop management teams to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and safety.
• Monitor guest service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (health, safety, aquatic standards).
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management with HR.
• Lead aquatics to ensure lifeguards are trained/certified and safe.
• Manage budgets, labor forecasting, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Inspect facilities and attractions for safety and reliability.
• Implement emergency procedures and risk management protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement in guest service and cost efficiency.
