Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Waterjet Operator for 2nd shift (2pm-12:30am). You will set up and operate waterjet cutters, program controls via CAD/CAM, and monitor cutting parameters to ensure precise parts per job orders and blueprints.

You will inspect finished parts for tolerances and perform routine maintenance on equipment, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace on a full-time basis. Great opportunity for growth in a hands-on manufacturing role.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for dimensions and tolerances.
• Program and operate waterjet cutting machines per job orders.
• Monitor cutting parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Program machine controls using CAD/CAM or software to ensure accurate cutting paths.
• Monitor water pressure, abrasive flow, and cutting speed for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or laser scanners for tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance: change abrasive media, clean nozzles, rebuild pumps, troubleshoot issues.
• Read blueprints/technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequences.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.

They are in need of a Waterjet Operator

2nd shift: 2pm-12:30am

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run waterjet cutting machines produce parts according to job orders and blueprints.
• Program machine controls using CAD/CAM or proprietary software to ensure accurate cutting paths.
• Monitor cutting parameters like water pressure, abrasive flow, and cutting speed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or laser scanners to verify tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance, including changing abrasive media, cleaning nozzles, pump rebuilds and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and cutting sequences.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace
