Job summary

Leading Technology Composites, Inc. is seeking a CNC operator on the 2nd shift to run waterjet and milling machines. You will load materials, select programs, and monitor operations in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with machine shop practices. Preference for candidates with 3-Axis or 5-Axis CNC experience and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Prefer machine shop skills and general computer familiarity.
• Preference given to those with 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machinist experience.

Responsibilities

• Load materials for machining operations.
• Operate software to select and run CNC programs.
• Monitor CNC machine performance and output.
• Read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Follow detailed setup and process instructions.
• Ask questions and provide feedback to supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the operation of CNC equipment, including waterjet and milling machines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load materials
• Use a computer to select and run appropriate programs
• Monitor CNC machine operation
• Read and understand verbal and written work orders
• Follow detailed instructions
• Communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor
• Follow safety requirements
• Perform 5S Requirements for work area
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor
• Promote a positive team environment
• Be dependable
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Hand/finger dexterity
• Visual acuity
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy materials - 50 LBS
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control
