Job summary

Fabhar is seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our production team in the United States. The role involves setting up and operating waterjet cutting machines to produce parts per order, reading blueprints, and applying precise speeds and feeds.

Qualifications

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Follow directions with attention to speeds, feeds and tooling.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut parts per order.
• Use basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Monitor operations for quality and accuracy of components.
• Inspect finished products for defects and conformance to specs.
• Use calipers and measuring tools accurately.
• Operate overhead crane and lifting devices; forklift experience is a plus.
• Keep work area clean, safe and orderly.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to perform any required duties as part of a team.
• Must pass a drug test; drug-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understands blueprints.
• Following directions/instructions step-by-step. Has knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting parts per order.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the components.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately.
• Able to use an overhead crane, and other lifting devices. able to operate forklift.
• Maintain work area and equipment: clean, orderly, and safe.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Ability to Perform any Required Duties as a team member.
