01 Hypertherm, Inc. is searching for a Field Service Technician to support our Waterjet team. This role involves traveling to customer sites for the installation, support, and repair of OMAX Waterjet machines, ensuring customer satisfaction through hands-on technical expertise.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Field Technical Service or related field experience.
• 2+ years with Cutting Solutions product experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and CNC/PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Installation and setup of Waterjet machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on-site.
• Maintain detailed digital service records and provide feedback.

Skills

Hands-on experience with multimeters and electrical schematics

Strong mechanical aptitude

Technical manual reading and interpreting

Strong computer skills including file management

Customer training and support

Education

HS Diploma or GED

AS Degree in electrical or mechanical field (preferred)
