Job summary

Hypertherm Associates seeks a Senior Product Manager for the OMAX Waterjet portfolio to own product strategy and market performance. You will lead NPI from concept to launch and manage lifecycle decisions with cross‑functional teams across engineering, sales, and marketing.

You will shape strategy, conduct market analysis, and deliver profitable outcomes while partnering with regional teams to optimize pricing, features, and customer value. This onsite role in Kent, WA requires travel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of product management experience or equivalent in strategy, engineering, marketing, sales, or leadership.
• Demonstrated capability managing technical products or complex systems.
• Strong business acumen: pricing, financial modeling, forecasting, and business case creation.
• Experience collaborating in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to lead without authority and drive alignment across teams.
• Skilled in user-centered design and translating customer needs into product requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a structured, analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned portfolio strategy, in-market performance, and long-term profitability.
• Develop product line strategy, business cases, and roadmaps.
• Define segment opportunities using market analysis and VOC insights.
• Lead cross-functional NPI teams from concept to commercialization.
• Drive pricing strategy, launch plans, and early market validation.
• Manage lifecycle decisions for revenue, margin, and market share.
• Collaborate with regional teams to drive product success and improvements.
