Job summary

Restaurant 604 in Hawaii is seeking a line cook to manage the cook station, follow proper setup procedures, receive and communicate guest orders, and plate menu items to meet our quality standards.

You will maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to sanitation guidelines while collaborating with teammates to ensure timely service across shifts. This is a full-time position requiring 18+ years old, English communication, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must have a valid health card or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform simple math calculations and understand units and measures.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend.
• Must exhibit hand coordination and dexterity for rapid production.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Line Cook Training Manual.
• Maintains a positive attendance record by arriving 10 minutes before shifts and managing replacement duties.
• Follows sanitation and safety standards with audits.
• Meets uniform, appearance, and grooming standards.
• Maintains guest service standards and low complaint ratio.
• Knows all menu items and can explain specials and substitutions.
• Prepares and communicates prep lists with minimal waste.
• Communicates orders to station cooks with 100% accuracy.
• Prepares menu items according to quality standards 100% of the time.
• Notifies expeditor/server when orders are ready for delivery.
