Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu is looking for a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Prepare and cook menu items to specification, receive and order products, and ensure proper labeling, dating, and refrigeration of all prepped food.

The role involves opening/closing duties, maintaining a clean kitchen and back dock, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Line Cook experience required.
• General knowledge of safety & sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand/move for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Make prep recipes and cook menu items to spec.
• Receive and order product.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items for the line.
• Perform opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock.
• Practice safety and sanitation standards.
• Read items printed on order tickets or Kitchen Display System.
• Assemble orders and double-check product quality and specs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge.
• Handle re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures.
