Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a General Manager to lead the Delta Virginia Beach Waterfront, a distinguished full-service hotel with panoramic bay views and dynamic guest experiences. Lead operations, financial performance, and a high-performing team while upholding Marriott standards and Crescent brand expectations.

You will drive strategy, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and owner relationships, delivering superior results in the Virginia Beach market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership in a full-service hotel.
• Proven ability to drive financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills.
• Experience partnering with hotel ownership and management company leadership.
• Marriott full-service experience preferred.
• Experience in waterfront/destination hotel environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for hotel operations, financial performance, guest experience, and associate engagement.
• Develop and execute the hotel's annual business plan, budget, forecasts, and operating strategies.
• Analyze financial and operational results and implement strategies to drive revenue, profitability, market share, and asset value.
• Maintain relationships with ownership, Crescent leadership, and Marriott.
• Create a hospitality-focused culture with accountability and exceptional service.
• Maintain a visible presence and engage with guests and associates.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a talented executive leadership team.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, and F&B to maximize performance and identify opportunities.
• Represent the hotel and Crescent within the Virginia Beach community.
