Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager for the Waterfront Engineering team, with a full-time role located in Oak Brook, IL or Brookfield, WI. The candidate should be a civil engineer focused on waterfront projects across the Great Lakes region.

The role covers managing projects, regulatory permitting, field data collection, and technical analysis, with opportunities in design and field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, coastal or marine engineering or geotechnical field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in waterfront-related projects.
• EIT or PE is preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and tasks across Waterfront Engineering.
• Prepare project plans using Civil 3D and technical specs with senior engineers.
• Handle regulatory permitting and field data collection as needed.
• Conduct technical analyses and data engineering reviews.
• Support construction administration both in field and office.
