Job summary

GZA’s Brookfield, Wisconsin office is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and execute geotechnical projects across buildings, bridges, highways and waterfront developments. You will work under a Principal, mentor staff, and play a role in marketing and client relations.

The position may be located in Brookfield, WI or Oak Brook, IL, with ownership opportunities based on performance and firm needs. 10+ years of experience and a P.E. are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering required
• P.E. license preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams and execute day-to-day activities
• Monitor performance against budgets and contracts
• Provide technical leadership and client communications
• Support business development and market strategies
• Prepare proposals and geotechnical reports with Principal guidance
• Mentor staff and oversee training and reviews
• Handle project contracts, scope changes, and risk management
