Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the waterfront and coastal practice in Providence, RI or nearby Northeast offices.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team to design, assess, and rehabilitate waterfront structures, while representing the company in client interactions from proposals through project execution. The role offers ownership opportunities within the firm and potential advancement based on performance.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in civil or structural engineering, with marine focus preferred.
• Professional licensure (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in design and analysis of waterfront/marine structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams (structural, geotechnical, coastal) to deliver projects.
• Communicate with clients and manage project performance within budgets and contracts.
• Design and review waterfront structures, assess condition and asset management.
