Talis Group is seeking a personable, motivated Sales Account Manager to grow business by developing new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships in waterfront construction sectors. The Lamar, IN office serves as the hub for this relationship-focused role.

Ideal candidates have construction sales experience and a proven ability to generate new business, manage accounts, and travel locally to meet clients and assess job sites.

Qualifications

• Construction sales experience is required, preferably in commercial/industrial or marine construction.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and grow long-term customer relationships.
• Track record of generating new business and repeat customers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business relationships with manufacturers, power plants, industrial facilities along the river.
• Identify new potential opportunities and build a network of industrial customers.
• Make regular customer visits, conduct follow-up calls, and maintain pipeline activity.
• Coordinate with internal personnel to develop project proposals and solutions.
• Represent the company professionally through networking and industry relationships.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales leads.
• Travel locally for customer visits, meetings, and job site visits.
