Job summary

Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, CA, is seeking a friendly Bartender to deliver welcoming service, craft drinks to recipe standards, and keep the bar running smoothly across shifts.

You will greet guests, upsell thoughtfully, maintain stock, handle cash and transactions, and assist with inventory while upholding safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic state and local alcohol service requirements.
• Confident beverage preparation and ability to provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, personalized service and a positive attitude.
• Take beverage orders, make recommendations, and upsell when appropriate.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a well-stocked bar and assist with inventory.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and complete end-of-shift reports.
• Keep bar, tables, counters, and service areas clean and inviting.
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements.
