Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, CA is seeking an energetic bartender to deliver warm hospitality and expertly crafted drinks in a dynamic waterfront setting.

You will create beverages to recipe standards, upsell when appropriate, and ensure a clean, stocked bar and smooth service across shifts. The role emphasizes guest service, accuracy, and teamwork to support restaurant and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bartending or related F&B experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic state and local alcohol service requirements.
• Confident beverage preparation and thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, personalized service and a positive attitude.
• Take beverage orders, make recommendations, and upsell when appropriate.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a well-stocked bar with garnishes, mixers, ice, and supplies.
• Assist with beverage and bar supply inventory with the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Process cash and credit transactions and close checks.
• Keep the bar and service areas clean and inviting.
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Prepare and stock beverages for the next shift.
