Job summary

Jonathan Dickinson Hospitality LLC is seeking friendly Rental Associates to join our park concession at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Help us launch improved guest experiences and deliver safe, enjoyable watercraft rentals.

You will greet guests, help choose kayaks or canoes, explain safety rules, inspect equipment, process rentals, and keep accurate records. Must be reliable, customer-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist customers in selecting kayaks, canoes or other watercraft based on experience level and preferences.
• Provide detailed information about safety guidelines, water conditions, and local regulations.
• Inspect and maintain kayaks, canoes and other watercraft equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Conduct regular safety checks on life jackets, paddles, and other equipment.
• Process rental transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Collect necessary customer information and waivers.
• Handle cash and card payments and maintain accurate rental records.
