Job summary

Jonathan Dickinson Hospitality LLC is seeking friendly Rental Associates to join our park concession team at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. You will greet guests, help them choose kayaks or canoes, and explain safety rules and local regulations.

You’ll inspect equipment, conduct safety checks, and handle rental transactions with accuracy. Ideal candidates enjoy working with people, stay positive, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Able to work day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet/exceed customer expectations.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist customers in selecting kayaks, canoes, or other watercraft based on experience.
• Provide information about safety guidelines, water conditions, and local regulations.
• Inspect and maintain kayaks, canoes, and other equipment for good condition.
• Conduct regular safety checks on life jackets and equipment.
• Process rental transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collect customer information and waivers.
• Handle cash and card payments and maintain rental records.
