H 2 O Innovation in Gulfport, MS is seeking a skilled Water Well Operator for a full-time, permanent role. The operator will oversee the daily operations of the water well division to provide a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport residents.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license, prefer a Mississippi Class D Water License, have at least 1 year of related experience, pass background and drug screenings, and adhere to MSDH standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Class D Mississippi Water License preferred.
• High school diploma/GED.
• At least 1-year related experience.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions, including hazards that may exist in water well environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and it’s programs.
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling required by the MSDH and other agencies.
• Ensure all well and tank infrastructure is operating properly and in accordance with government standards.

We are seeking a skilled Water Well Operator to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, the water well operator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operator of the water well division that is responsible for providing a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport, MS residents.

The Day-to-Day
