Job summary

H2O Innovation Inc. in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Water Well Operator for a full-time, on-site role. You will oversee daily operations of the water well division, ensuring a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport residents and compliance with MSDH standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Background checks and drug/alcohol screenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of water-well related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MSDH standards and safety practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee daily water well operations.
• Ensure continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport residents.
• Conduct sampling as required by MSDH and other agencies.
• Maintain and monitor well and tank infrastructure per government standards.
• Complete and submit logbooks and reports.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.

H 2 O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations.

We are seeking a skilled Water Well Operator to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, the water well operator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operator of the water well division that is responsible for providing a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport, MS residents.

The Day-to-Day

• Perform work duties outlined in the job description.
• Help ensure compliance with all MSDH standards.
• Conduct sampling required by the MSDH and other agencies.
• Ensure all well and tank infrastructure is operating properly and in accordance with government standards.
• Complete and submit logbooks.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

The Skills We Are Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Class D Mississippi Water License preferred.
• High school diploma/GED.
• At least 1-year related experience.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions, including hazards that may exist in water well environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and it’s programs.
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
