Job summary

US Water Services Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on water and wastewater systems in Hartsville, SC. You will troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, piping, and related equipment, and respond to emergency maintenance as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing tasks and safe operation of tools.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in maintenance, utilities, water/wastewater preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and piping systems.
Experience with pumps, motors, valves, lift stations, or wastewater components preferred.
Must be able to read equipment manuals and diagrams.
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on water and wastewater systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, valves, piping and controls.
Maintain lift stations, pump stations, wells, tanks, and treatment facilities.
Assist with electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical repairs.
Perform basic plumbing repairs and inspect equipment for maintenance needs.
Operates tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and respond to emergencies.
