American Water is seeking a General Maintenance Worker (SCA) to perform technical maintenance on water and wastewater systems. The role includes repair, preventive maintenance, and occasional operations support, with overtime and on-call responsibilities as needed.

You will maintain records, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety policies while contributing to reliable service delivery for our customers.

Formación

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years’ experience in maintenance of water distribution systems, water pump stations and wastewater collection systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on water distribution systems, valves, hydrants, meters and mains.
• Maintain pumps, electrical controls and related equipment.
• Prepare maintenance material orders and keep records of work performed.
• Coordinate outside contractors when needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear proper PPE.
