Job summary

Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Professional Engineer in our Fort Wayne, IN office. You will manage all phases of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects, from conceptual studies to construction support.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license (Indiana or Kentucky reciprocity) and have experience with pump stations, collection and distribution systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants, with strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar; MS/PhD a plus.
• P.E. licensure in Indiana or Kentucky or reciprocity ability.
• Experience with WaterGems and Visual Hydraulics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects.
• Develop design reports, contract documents, and bidding support.
• Support construction engineering services and field implementation.
