Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Professional Engineer in our Fort Wayne, IN office. You will manage all phases of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects, from conceptual studies to construction support.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license (Indiana or Kentucky reciprocity) and have experience with pump stations, collection and distribution systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants, with strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Formación

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar; MS/PhD a plus.
• P.E. licensure in Indiana or Kentucky or reciprocity ability.
• Experience with WaterGems and Visual Hydraulics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and work independently.

Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Professional Engineer in our Fort Wayne, IN Office location.

Responsibilities

Work will encompass all phases of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the planning and design of pump stations, sanitary/stormwater collection systems, water distribution systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.

Qualifications/Skills

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Similar Discipline (M.S. or Ph.D. is a plus)
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Indiana or Kentucky (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
• Experience with software such as Visual Hydraulics and WaterGems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to serve as a mentor to junior team members
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills

Compensation

Example base salary ranges listed below (commensurate with expertise/ability/years with P.E. license), plus annual performance bonus and additional incentive pay for each hour worked excess of the 40-hour schedule.

• P.E. licensure < 5 years: $90,000 to $110,000
• P.E. licensure 5-10 years: $110,000 to $120,000
• P.E. licensure 10-15 years: $120,000 to $130,000
• P.E. licensure 15-20 years: $130,000 to $150,000
• P.E. licensure 20+ years: $150,000 to $180,000
