Job description

STV, located in Charlotte and Morrisville, NC, is looking for a Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer to join our team! This senior-level position involves various tasks designed to provide experience and interaction with staff, methods, practices, programs, and the organization’s culture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Prepare or assist in preparing water and wastewater or general civil engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in water and wastewater pipelines and DOT wet utility relocation plans.
3. Show proficiency in the firm's drafting standards and CADD software.
4. Use the firm's system for filing and retrieving drawings and project information; assist in producing drawings, graphs, charts, exhibits, and other documents.
5. Develop knowledge of available resources such as reference materials, government agencies, utility companies, and in-house records.
6. Gain proficiency in the use of CADD equipment and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Technical School education preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Familiarity with CADD programs such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and third-party software packages.
3. 15+ years of experience preferred; 10 years required.

Compensation Range:

$68,560.00 - $91,413.00
