Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Civil CAD Technician. This remote-based role is posted and available for candidates not local to an existing Farnsworth Group location. In this role, you will provide production support for Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Process Engineering. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with experienced engineers on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, municipal, water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure.


Job Activities:


  • Civil Engineering - projects including roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site design and grading, processing of survey data, creation of existing conditions drawings including 3-D DTM and standard drawings, creation of survey stakeouts, and other survey related tasks.

  • Process Engineering - Plan preparations for treatment facilities.


Specific Requirements Include:


  • Associates Degree or equivalent certificate with specialization in AutoCAD Civil 3D and willingness to learn Revit

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience providing drafting and design support for Civil based projects

  • Ability to effectively plan & manage time commitments on multiple concurrent projects

  • Candidate should be team-oriented, highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and have the ability to work well with minimal direction

  • Strong understanding of CAD standards, features and annotation styles, line styles, and drawing setup.

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of project team members

Salary Range: $62,000 - $80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
