Job summary

City of Goodyear is seeking a skilled control systems technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair of water and wastewater equipment. You will work on electrical controls, instrumentation, and SCADA systems, applying troubleshooting and calibration to keep water production and reclamation facilities running smoothly.

Candidates should have a two-year associate degree or equivalent, with at least two years’ related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two year associate degree or technical/vocational equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read technical information, logs, manuals, blueprints, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical water and wastewater systems.
• Enter maintenance information into CMMS and schedule preventive tasks.
• Respond to SCADA system issues and coordinate with operations or vendors.
• Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair diverse electrical/electronic systems.
