Job summary

The City Of Goodyear is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform control system maintenance and repair of water and wastewater equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance on electrical controls, instrumentation, and SCADA-related systems, with duties expanding as assigned.

The position is full‑time in Goodyear, AZ, with a pay range of $30.96 to $45.95 hourly and a benefits package. Shift work and standby duties may be required, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two year associate's degree, diploma or equivalent from a college or technical school.
• Minimum two years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical water and wastewater systems; enters information into CMMS.
• Schedules preventive and corrective maintenance in CMMS.
• Responds to SCADA user problems; identifies malfunctions and refers to operations personnel or vendor.
• Tests, troubleshoots, calibrates and maintains electrical/industrial systems.
• Operates and administers complex systems including security, surveillance and chemical treatment.
