Qualifications

Job description

We are actively seeking a Water & Wastewater Resident Project Representative (RPR) II to join our team of dedicated professionals in Lehigh Valley, PA. As a Water & Wastewater Resident Project Representative (RPR) II, you are responsible for engineering related practices and construction observation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting on-site observation of work in progress in accordance with contract documents
  • Documenting and reporting when work does not conform to contract documents
  • Conducting final inspections to ensure:
    • All items are completed or corrected and make recommendations to Project Manager concerning acceptance
    • Certificates, maintenance and operation manuals and other data required to be assembled and furnished by Contractor are applicable to the items actually installed and in accordance with the contract documents
  • Drafting proposed change orders and work directive changes
  • Reviewing project schedules, schedules of shop drawing submittals and schedules of values prepared by Contractor
  • Maintaining field observation reports including photographs

Requirements:

  • High school or GED
  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in:
    • Construction observation and administration relative to water and wastewater projects
    • Construction observation and/or management for storm water, site grading, paving and highway projects
    • Basic survey, grade and cut sheets and quantity data
  • NICET certification, desired
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must have a valid Driver's License to travel to job sites, meetings and/or HRG office(s)
  • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
