Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Resident Engineer for Water/Wastewater projects in the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. You will lead on-site construction oversight, manage a team of inspectors, and coordinate with the client, designers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.

The role emphasizes safe construction practices, contract compliance, and strong client relationships, with opportunities to influence project delivery and financial outcomes. A PE or PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Project Manager or Construction Manager.
• Experience with alternative delivery contracts (GCCM, DB, PDB) preferred.
• Proven experience on large water/wastewater projects in Puget Sound area preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, contract management and client relationships.
• Valid driver's license with good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Interface management with client, designers, agencies and contractors.
• Provide construction oversight to ensure safe, accurate on-site implementation per contract and permits.
• Lead and direct a team of site inspectors and support staff; report progress, safety, finances and contract changes.
• Develop trusted relationships with project team, contractor and client's staff; emphasize safe construction practices.
