Burgess & Niple is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager / Sr. Design Engineer. Join our team to create meaningful solutions that strengthen communities while advancing your professional expertise.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects, including wastewater collection systems, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, and studies of water systems.
2. Coordinate with project teams internally and externally.
3. Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
4. Create an excellent client experience throughout project delivery.
5. Promote a positive team environment that enhances our corporate culture.
6. Maintain quality control of services and deliverables.
7. Mentor and train junior staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.
• 10+ years of related water/wastewater experience.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Project management experience and treatment process knowledge are a plus.
• Hydraulic modeling experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, or hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
