Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Orlando, Estero, and Tampa offices. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, proposal development, and strategic execution with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance. Florida PE and 6+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• PE license in Florida is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater engineering.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience delivering technical and business presentations or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for major municipal clients.
• Market existing and potential clients and assist in proposals and business development.
• Prepare and manage project budgets using company tools.
• Lead planning, evaluation, and selection of design alternatives for multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform design calculations and analyses; prepare reports, drawings, specs, and estimates.
• Provide construction-phase services including meetings and field coordination.
• Ensure quality documentation and compliance across deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
