Job summary

Hatteras Capital Advisors in the Tampa Bay area seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater facilities. You will supervise junior staff and serve as the primary client contact, steering budgets and schedules from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is a Florida PE with 5–17 years of municipal experience, hands-on with pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and rehab projects.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer with 5–17 years of municipal water/wastewater project experience.
• Experience with pipelines, conveyance, pump stations, lift stations, storage and treatment facilities, and rehab projects.
• Extensive permitting, hydraulic modeling & design, water distribution, treatment, collection and construction administration.
• Strong local and regional relationships with municipal, state, and local agencies.
• Hands-on hydraulic modeling: WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS; AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver water/wastewater projects as Project Manager.
• Provide leadership to junior staff and manage client relationships.
• Own project budgets and schedules, coordinating across teams.
• Lead projects from initiation to completion with rigorous QA/QC.

We have an exciting and new opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in the Tampa Bay area. This is a new opportunity with an established full service civil engineering firm. They are an industry wide leader and expanding here in the Tampa area.

Responsibilities

• You will be a Project Manager in charge of planning, design, and delivery of water/wastewater projects. You will also be responsible for providing leadership to junior staff and be the primary point of contact for clients, project budgets and schedules, and lead your projects from start to finish.

Requirements

• A Florida PE with at 5 to 17 years of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure project experience.
• Your experience must include hands on knowledge of pipelines, conveyance, pump stations, lift stations, storage and treatment facilities, and rehabilitation projects.
• Must have extensive experience with permitting, hydraulic modeling & design, water distribution, treatment, collection and construction administration.
• Local and regional relationships with municipal, state, local agencies.
• Technical Skills:
• Hands on experience with hydraulic modeling (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS)
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
