Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead wastewater treatment projects for public utility clients in the Mid Atlantic Water Group, based in Fairfax or Richmond, Virginia.

You will lead a team of engineers and professionals, oversee project plans and budgets, and contribute to business development. The role requires a Virginia P.E. license within one year and a minimum of 10 years in water/wastewater.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater field.
• P.E. in Virginia required with ability to obtain them through reciprocity within one year for applicable states.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Programming and/or scripting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater treatment design projects for public utility clients.
• Lead the planning phase of projects while interfacing with other engineering disciplines and permitting specialists.
• Contribute to growth of the National Water Market Segment via proposal preparation and client interaction.
• Communicate project expectations to project team and client.
• Conduct QA and QC reviews of other projects.
• Provide technical mentoring of junior staff.
• Apply earned value management to plan, schedule, and budget projects.
• Attend seminars and participate in professional associations to expand knowledge.
