Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) in Herndon, VA is seeking a Project Manager for water/wastewater projects. Join a 100% employee‑owned consulting firm delivering engineering, architecture, IT and related services across the United States.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, build client relationships, and drive project performance from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture; PE or AIA preferred.
• 10+ years in design/construction PM of multidisciplinary teams; water/wastewater experience a plus.
• PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external engineering resources and client staffing to deliver scope on time and within budget.
• Serve as point of contact for clients, contractors, and design/construction teams.
• Build and develop client relationships and seek repeat or new opportunities.
• Coordinate progress and ensure milestones and quality guidelines are met.
• Develop proposals, budgets, work breakdowns, schedules, and integration plans.
