Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Senior Civil/Environmental Project Manager to guide water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as the primary client contact.

Requirements include PE licensure, a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and several years in consulting. Proficiency with Revit, hydraulic modeling, and permitting in New England/NY is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in water and wastewater.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with multi-state licensure desirable.
• Demonstrated project management experience across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with NE, NY water/wastewater regulations, permitting, and funding.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution from concept through construction completion.
• Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements.
• Serve as the primary client contact and lead proposal efforts.
• Guide clients through funding options, permitting, and project delivery.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams with technical leadership and mentorship.
• Prepare and oversee construction documents, permit apps, drawings, specs, and cost opinions.
• Maintain high-quality standards and attend meetings with clients and regulators.
• Address project needs and resolve design challenges.
• Manage project budgets and schedules; identify new opportunities.
