STV is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in our Dallas, TX office to support the expanding water team. The role focuses on design and plan production, project delivery, and client relationship management across the state.
The ideal candidate holds a Texas PE license, has eight or more years in water/wastewater design, and can lead design efforts while mentoring junior staff. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this collaborative environment.
STV has an immediate need for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager located in our Dallas, TX office. The successful candidate will support our current staff while assisting in growing the water/wastewater practice to better service our clients statewide. This role offers unlimited opportunities to maintain existing client relationships, broaden STV’s service offerings geographically, manage projects, mentor junior staff, all while promoting the culture of a healthy work-life balance. The candidate will be managing projects under supervision from senior managers and work with junior staff members for successful project production and execution. The candidate will be responsible for managing design and plan production on various water and sewer projects. The ideal candidate will be a professional engineer with 8 or more years of relevant water/sewer experience, including experience designing water distribution, wastewater collection, water/sewer system modeling, water/wastewater treatment, pump station, cost estimates, technical reports, specifications and coordination of design and production activities with other disciplines.
BS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field with MS degree a plus.
Minimum of eight (8) years of water and sewer design experience.
Prior project management experience.
Texas PE license Required.
Prior water and wastewater design experience with local municipalities a plus.
Familiarity with production tools, or modeling and design software is a plus.
Ability to search, investigate and choose technical reference data pertinent to a project to complete plan production with limited direction.
Prepare and assist with project computations, estimates and designs.
Previous construction administration experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and coordination skills with other disciplines.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
$116,930.89 - $133,635.31
