Wharton-Smith, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager with water/wastewater background to lead Tampa, FL projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, safety, and quality, while coordinating with clients, design teams, and field staff.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and proven success delivering multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget. Local knowledge of Florida codes is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Water/wastewater construction experience is required.
• Experience leading self-performing crews is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Five+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or related field.
• Proven success delivering multimillion-dollar projects.

Mansioni

• Build strong relationships with client/owner, architect, and engineer to foster repeat work.
• Maintain a positive image of the company with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Manage project cost accounting and develop the project schedule.
• Oversee permitting, testing, inspection, and contract compliance.
• Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders; review invoices and change orders.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and weekly progress; report to Division Manager.
