Wharton-Smith, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent for Water/Wastewater projects. This role leads onsite field operations, mentors field leadership, and drives project execution on large multimillion-dollar programs.

You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, and quality; coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors; require OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and other critical certifications; travel as needed. Exempt, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and extensive field leadership experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 15 years of construction-related or construction management experience, with demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex, multimillion-dollar projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior field leadership or Project Superintendent experience preferred.
• Current OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel occasionally throughout Wharton-Smith territories.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for large or multiple projects.
• Mentor Project Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Foremen.
• Drive project execution, schedule, budget, and safety performance.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors on critical project matters.
• Review project schedules, manpower plans, and recovery plans; support planning and startup activities.
• Promote company safety culture and zero-incident expectations across all projects.
