Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI), a subsidiary of MWH Constructors, is seeking a Project Executive to lead large wastewater infrastructure programs in Oregon.

You will direct planning, execution, and close-out of projects valued from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars, guiding engineers, field staff, and subcontractors to safe, on-time, within-budget delivery. You will drive business development, engage owners and stakeholders, and mentor teams while upholding quality, safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction/related field.
• 10+ years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil/industrial projects.
• 5+ years on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Proven ability to lead construction projects; CMAR/ design‑build experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems and startup/commissioning.
• Track record in client relationships and business development.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams including self-perform and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience with project management software CMiC, Procore and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and close-out of large water/wastewater projects (typically $50M–$300M+).
• Oversee project teams and manage safety, quality, schedule and budget to targets.
• Identify and pursue new work in water/wastewater markets; support proposals and client outreach.
• Maintain client relationships and act as trusted advisor on constructability and delivery methods.
• Establish and monitor project budgets; work with finance on forecasts and cost control.
• Mentor and develop project staff; foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
