Water Resources Project Manager (Water and Wastewater) is sought for a privately held New Jersey consulting engineering firm in Parsippany. The role is hybrid, three days on site, with base compensation of $120,000 to $160,000 plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

You will take water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting and construction, owning the scope, schedule, and budget. You will be the front person with NJDEP and the client’s main contact.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment with ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
• New Jersey PE license or ability to obtain NJ licensure by comity; strong EIT with PE scheduled considered.
• Hands-on design authorship including drawings, specifications, basis of design reports and permit applications prepared by you.
• Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and the permitting process.
• Experience carrying client relationships and writing fee proposals.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full lifecycle water and wastewater projects from planning to construction.
• Define scope, schedule and budget; develop proposals and negotiate scope.
• Direct design team on drawings, specs, basis of design reports, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with NJDEP regulators on approvals and permits.
• Maintain client relationships with municipal and authority clients after project closes.
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank and other programs.
