Job summary

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead Potomac Interceptor projects from our Washington, DC area office. The role requires a strong design background in sewer repair, extensive experience in engineering design and management, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (three days at client’s office in Washington, DC and two days remote) and requires Maryland/VA PE licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• Ten years of relevant engineering design and management experience
• PE license in Maryland and/or Virginia or ability to obtain within six months
• Pipeline design experience including hydraulic profile and flow rate calculations
• Pipeline upgrades with trenchless technologies and pumping bypass systems
• Familiarity with client design standards
• Familiarity with MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong design background of sewer repair projects
• USA work experience; local/remote preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead large diameter sewer rehabilitation projects with planning and support
• Oversee designs, construction submittal reviews, and coordination with stakeholders
• Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with client design standards and local regulations
