Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater to oversee engineering delivery on complex municipal projects. You will lead multi-discipline teams, oversee budgets, schedules, and quality, and serve as the client interface under the guidance of the project manager.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years of related experience, and professional licensure (PE preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Professional licensure (PE) preferred; required where applicable.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑discipline teams to deliver complex municipal projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality across projects.
• Serve as the project team's client interface under Project Manager supervision.
• Mentor engineering staff and drive technical solutions.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables and changes.
