Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater in Des Moines. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team on complex municipal projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, and client communications.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements and opportunities for mentorship, technical leadership, and career development within a renowned engineering and infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).

Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and technicians on municipal projects.
Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.
Manage budgets, scheduling, and client correspondence in support of projects.
Coordinate project changes with the client under Project Manager supervision.
Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater projects.
